Chip Rust began his tenure as Financial Administrator for Christ Lutheran Church in July of 2021. He is married to his wife, Sherry, and has two, grown children. His son, Adam, resides in Allentown, and his daughter, Courtney, along with her husband, Joshua, reside in Orefield with their daughter, Sadie.
Chip graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Economics with a concentration in Finance. Professionally, he was the Owner and President of Roland & Roland, Inc., a wholesale distributor of building products servicing Eastern and Central Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and parts of New York. Chip spent over 30 years with Roland & Roland until selling the business in 2010. After his employment contract with the new owners was completed in 2015, he found himself with a lot of extra time on his hands.
To fill that time, Chip has been providing financial and accounting services to small businesses in the area; however, he still found himself with extra time on his hands. The opportunity at Christ Lutheran Church is exactly what he was looking for to fill the void, while still having time to enjoy his family and friends. Chip and Sherry now enjoy as much time as they can with their granddaughter, Sadie. They also enjoy traveling and exploring new places, dining out with family and friends, as well as relaxing to good music or a good book.
